Laboratory testing is a routine part of medical care. The experience of getting it done should feel routine too.
With on-site phlebotomy, your blood draw happens during your regular visit. You will not need to take additional time to travel to a lab, wait in line, or re-explain your orders. Our team coordinates directly with the laboratory, routes your results back to your physician, and incorporates the findings into your care plan.
For members managing chronic conditions that require periodic lab monitoring, this convenience adds up. For patients balancing busy schedules, it removes a small but recurring friction from your care.
What to expect
During your visit
Blood draws are typically done at the end of your office visit, taking just a few minutes.
Preparation
Fasting is required for certain panels. Your care team will let you know what preparation is needed before your appointment.
Results
Most results return within 24 to 72 hours and are reviewed by your Lown Group physician. You will be contacted directly if any findings require follow-up.

Our phlebotomy team is experienced and takes care to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
All testing, labs, and clinical services are billed to insurance and not included in the membership fee.
