Changes in memory and thinking? “It’s no more than you’d expect when you get old…” You have probably heard similar words. Perhaps you have said them about yourself or a family member or a friend. Perhaps somebody has said them about you. The truth is that there are many misconceptions about the effects of age on the brain. What is normal and what is not?
